Ninja Turtle

We are washing the van and Al - our black mutt is having a fit in the woods. When we go to check it out he has turtle cornered. Well needless to say the boys spent several hours pulling it out of the woods by letting it bite a shovel. Then they pulled it up onto a piece of cardboard and got it near the pond and away from the dog. It did not take that turtle long to get to the pond. It kept them busy and I hated to tell them turtles have been doing this themselves for hundreds of years. Poor Brittney only got to hear about it when she got home from PreK.
